Lydia May, APRN Family Medicine, Wasilla

Lydia is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner, caring for the whole family across the lifespan. She has lived in Alaska since 2006 and has six amazing kids. They enjoy fishing and all the amazing outdoor adventures Alaska has to offer.

Lydia grew up in Texas and attended undergraduate school at Loma Linda University School of Nursing in California, graduating in 2001 as a Registered Nurse. She worked for 12 years as an RN in various hospital nursing positions. Lydia returned to school and graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2015 with her MSN, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner degree, and in 2018 with her post-masters Family Nurse Practitioner degree, carrying board certification in both specialties.

Lydia has worked with several clinics in the valley since graduating in 2015, including her own clinic Restoration Wellness from 2016 to 2021. She began working at Capstone in October 2022 and is excited to continue serving our community with the same integrative approach she has always offered. Her passion for healing is rooted in her own journey. She believes knowledge is the most powerful tool we can give our patients. She will partner with our patients to renew hope for healing and restore the body’s balance and resources. She specializes in metabolic syndrome, hormone therapies, hypothyroid, methylation, and integrative therapies, including genetic testing for root cause analysis.
