Dr. Heather Jones and her family moved to Alaska with the United States Air Force and they have lived here for over 10 years. After deciding to leave Active Duty to allow more time to be with her family she settled in the Chugiak area where she is enjoying living. She has two teenage children who get their music abilities from their father. She is a physician in the Air National Guard and plans to be a permanent resident. She has always enjoyed hiking, cross-country skiing, camping, biking and walking or running. She also enjoys swimming and snorkeling. She is originally from California and still enjoys the sunshine so tries to escape to a sunny location at least once per year. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Nebraska/Offutt Air Force base combined program in Omaha, Nebraska.
