Dr. Cranmer grew up in a rural town in Northern Arizona and knew from a young age she enjoyed working with people and helping others. Her passion for health and wellness motivated her as she completed her undergraduate degree in science and physiology and pursued her Medical Doctorate at the University of Arizona. She was drawn to Alaska in 2012 and joined the Alaska Family Medicine Residency where she fell in love with Alaska and her Alaskan husband. They have recently added a new baby girl to the family. Prior to joining the amazing Capstone Family Medicine Team, she worked at Medical Park Family Care and enjoyed serving her patients and the community.
She enjoys traveling and her path in medicine has been largely influenced through her experiences in Kenya, Nepal and Honduras providing medical care to underserved communities. Additionally, her work with the Hopi and Apache Native American Nations in Arizona inspired her to complete her Master’s in Public Health. This broad range of experiences has inspired her drive to provide well-rounded and balanced care and her desire to not only treat a community, but to become a part of it. She has a particular passion for women’s health as well as infant and children’s health. She looks forward to providing care to her previous patients and looks forward to meeting her new patients. She would be honored to be your primary care provider.
