Kris moved to Alaska in 1983 when his father was stationed at Fort Richardson. He moved to Wasilla in 1989 and graduated from Wasilla High School in 1993. Prior to becoming a P.A., he spent 20 years working as a Firefighter Paramedic in Alaska. He earned an Associates Degree in Fire Service Administration and Paramedicine from the University of Alaska. Kris attended the MEDEX P.A. program where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from the University of Washington.
He is married with two children and lives in Wasilla. He enjoys spending time outdoors and loves fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, snowmachining, and spending time with his family.
